Magical Puppets enchanting world of imagination began long ago in a land of magic & mystery.  Jean LaBelle was only 10 years old when he became interested in magical theater and puppetry.  By the age of 12, Jean was performing live shows and also began delving into other artistic realms.  His father, Will LaBelle, was a graphic artist and painter and so Jean also found an interest in graphic arts.  Additionally, Jean began to study music and the guitar.

In 1996, Gail Russell was starting a business of puppet theater which featured her own characters called, The Kamp Kreatures.  Gail was looking for someone who could work with her in creating the shows.  Jean found creating music and songs for the shows to be very interesting.  Together they created endearing personalities for many unique puppet characters of Kamp Kreatures.
